 Saturated dark red. Very ripe, pungent nose is at once decadent and inviting, offering notes of minerals, pepper, bitter chocolate, stone, woodsmoke and mulch. Lush and fine-grained, with very ripe dark berry and exotic geranium flavors that are just this side of porty. Superripe but not especially sweet, this big boy finishes with rather aggressive tannins and a whiff of raisin.
